Unidentified gunmen attack military police base in Malian capital Bamako A military police base in Mali's capital Bamako has been attacked by unidentified gunmen, a police source told AFP on Tuesday. Reporters heard volleys of gunfire and explosions starting in the early hours of morning in the area around the city's airport.
