On Friday, the US President Joe Biden outlined a three-phase peace plan in order to permanently end Israel's war in Gaza and secure the release of over one hundred hostages -living and deceased. While Netanyahu's far-right coalition partners National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said they would quit his government if the deal went ahead, the proposal was met with hope and support from the families of the hostages.
