'Storm Poly tore down trees and upended vehicles in the Amsterdam region' In the Amsterdam region, a 51-year-old woman was killed in her car when a tree fell. In neighboring Germany, a pedestrian was killed in a border town. Storm Poly grounded 400 flights out of one of Europe's main transport hubs, Amsterdam airport, and trains came to a standstill.
