Sanofi pursues sale of France's leading painkiller to US investment fund after controversy French pharmaceutical company Sanofi confirmed on Monday its plans to sell a controlling stake in its consumer health unit Opella to a US investment fund, after providing the French government with guarantees on maintaining jobs and production within France.
