Newborn saved from dead mother's womb as Israeli strikes kill dozens across Gaza A pregnant woman who was fatally wounded in an Israeli air strike on a refugee camp in central Gaza managed to make it to hospital in time for doctors to deliver her baby through an emergency caesarean section, medical staff at the Al-Awda Hospital said Saturday. At least 30 people have been killed by Israeli bombardment across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, rescuers and medics in Hamas-run Gaza said.
