More than 50 civilians die in Darfur market strike blamed on Sudan's military An air strike by Sudan’s military on a crowded market in the country’s western Darfur region this week killed at least 54 people and wounded dozens, including children, aid groups said. The military maintains its forces do not target civilians. Experts note that while Sudanese paramilitary groups have drones, they do not have aerial strike capabilities.
