Meet Ivory Coast's friendly elephant, who is nonetheless concerning locals Logro the Elephant regularly visits inhabitants of Tchébloguhé village in central Ivory Coast. Locals (who named him Logro) have developed various theories to explain his presence in the area. Some believe his mother died, while others think he's one of their ancestors reincarnated. Our Observer believes that Logro spends time with people in the village because he lacks resources in his natural habitat due to deforestation and urbanisation.
