Live: Three soldiers killed in Israeli strike on southern Lebanon, says army Three Lebanese soldiers were killed, including an officer, in an Israeli strike during the evacuation of wounded people on the outskirts of the village of Yater in southern Lebanon, the army said in a statement on Thursday. Israeli strikes also killed one soldier and injured seven in the Syrian cities of Damascus and Homs earlier Thursday, according to the Syrian Defence Ministry.
