I never filed ITRs but now have to show for home loan application. What to do You can file your income tax return only latest one year i.e. financial year 2021-2022 till 31st Dec 2022 with late fee. The mandatory late filing fee is ₹1,000/- if the taxable income exceeds the basic exemption limit of ₹2.50 lakhs but does not exceed 5 lakhs
