Guinea literary festival: Africa, literature and identity celebrated in Conakry Like every year in April, the Guinean capital is organising the "72 hours of books". This event brings together writers from the country and the continent, publishers and readers. It is an opportunity to put books in the spotlight in this country where more than half the population is illiterate, libraries are rare and books are inaccessible.
