Government bears some blame for Grenfell fire, UK housing minister says The British government has acknowledged it bares some responsibility for the fire that killed 72 residents at the Grenfell Tower block in London. Housing minister Michael Gove admitted that lax regulations contributed to the fire in 2017. He told British media on Sunday that owners of similarly dangerous homes have been practically imprisoned, unable to move or sell their homes. Oliver Farry reports.
