Frequent blackouts as drought hit hydroelectric stations in Zambia and Zimbabwe Neighbors Zimbabwe and Zambia are facing power cuts of up to 17 hours a day as drought dries up the Kariba dam. It's at the world's largest man made lake but critical water shortages have left the countries that rely on hydroelectric power that is meant to generate, in the dark. Nyasha Chingono reports.
