French snap elections: ‘Macron camp nowhere to be seen' French President Emmanuel Macron’s camp, which came in third in the first round of voting in France’s snap elections according to estimates on Sunday is “nowhere to be seen”, FRANCE 24’s politics editor Marc Perelman said, pointing out that both National Rally’s Marine Le Pen and France Unbowed’s Jean-Luc Mélenchon both dismissed Macron in their respective speeches. “They are essentially erasing Emmanuel Macron from the scene,” Perelman said.
