French left bloc New Popular Front agrees to propose Lucie Castets for prime minister France's left-wing New Popular Front alliance said on Tuesday it has agreed to propose Lucie Castets, a senior civil servant with the Paris Mayor's office, as their candidate for prime minister. Castets accepted the nomination “in all humility but with great conviction".
