France marks 80th anniversary of World War II's end in Europe French President Emmanuel Macron is presiding over the 80th anniversary of V-E ("Victory in Europe") Day in Paris on Thursday. Accompanied by his wife Brigitte Macron, he will oversee a ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arc de Triomphe and deliver comments.
