Civilians take shelter as rockets rain down on southern Israel The towns of Ashdod and Ashkelon, just a stone's throw from Gaza in southern Israel, were the targets of a hail of rockets on October 9 and 10. Two locals told the FRANCE 24 Observers team about the stress of each alert, and how they were able to get to safety.
