Algeria's Tebboune re-elected with 84% of vote, according to official results A week after Algeria went to the polls in presidential elections marked by allegations of fraud and irregularities by opposition politicians, the country's election authority on Saturday said final results showed President Abdelmadjid Tebboune had won a second term with 84.3 percent of the vote. The electoral authority initially said the incumbent had won with nearly 95 percent of the vote.
